What a new moon in Leo means
With the Sun and Moon together in Leo, this new moon opens a cycle of about four weeks that peaks at the full moon in Pisces on August 28, 2026. Leo is a fixed fire sign ruled by the Sun; its keywords: generous, dramatic, loyal.
The mood wants to be seen. Generosity, drama and appetite for play all rise, and so does sensitivity to being overlooked. Good for celebrating, performing and asking; less good for quiet compromise.
