What a new moon in Gemini means
With the Sun and Moon together in Gemini, this new moon opens a cycle of about four weeks that peaks at the full moon in Sagittarius on June 11, 2025. Gemini is a mutable air sign ruled by Mercury; its keywords: curious, witty, adaptable.
Talk speeds up and attention scatters. Messages multiply, plans change twice, and curiosity beats depth. Good for errands, conversations and gathering information; harder for sitting still with one thing.
The instant is the same everywhere; only the clock reading changes. Distances are centre to centre. There is no official supermoon definition: here a supermoon is a new moon with the Moon within 360,000 km of Earth, a micromoon one beyond 405,000 km. Computed with astronomy-engine, tropical zodiac.
