What a full moon in Leo means
With the Moon in Leo and the Sun in Aquarius, this full moon lights the Leo–Aquarius axis: what started at the new moon in Aquarius on January 29, 2025 comes to a head. Leo is a fixed fire sign ruled by the Sun; its keywords: generous, dramatic, loyal.
The mood wants to be seen. Generosity, drama and appetite for play all rise, and so does sensitivity to being overlooked. Good for celebrating, performing and asking; less good for quiet compromise.
The instant is the same everywhere; only the clock reading changes. Distances are centre to centre. There is no official supermoon definition: here a supermoon is a full moon with the Moon within 360,000 km of Earth, a micromoon one beyond 405,000 km.
